UM-Stl Louis Blanche Touhill
Performing Arts Center
|
The Blanche
M. Touhill Performing Arts Center
at UM-St. Louis offers Broadway style productions,
opera and dance in its 1,625 seat main hall.
the main hall has the feel of a European opera
house, but it is technically and aesthetically
superior to any other in the Midwest. The
Touhill also offers a more intimiate 300 seat
theater that is perfect for smaller productions,
"theater in the round," wedding
receptions, galas and guest speakers.
|
|
The James J. Eagan Civic
Center features a 600 seat theatre, which
hosts a continuous series of plays, musical
performances and other entertainment appropriate
for pre-schoolers to senior citizens. A variety
of performances are also offered at the Fisher
Theatre at St. Louis Community College
at Florissant Valley. And in the Normandy
area you can pull up a chair for the Hawthorne
Players.

If you're looking
for Italian, you don't have to go to the Hill
to find it! We have some of the best right
here in the area, like Cannoli's, Rizzo's,
or Vincenzo's. If Greek is more your
style then try Spiro's on Natural Bridge.
And if you are looking for a great burger
and milkshake, served the old fashioned way
by an actual carhop, you have to give Chuck-A-Burger
on St. Charles Rock Road a try.
