The Federation of Catholic Schools – Northeast Deanery is an agreement between the pastors of the eleven parishes in the Northeast Deanery of the Archdiocese of St. Louis to work more closely together in support of the mission of Catholic education in the North County community. The Federation schools and parishes collaborate in four main areas that include addressing affordability, maintaining excellence in its academic programming, increasing diversity and achieving greater efficiency by sharing resources.
Incarnate Word Academy is a Catholic, private, female, college preparatory school serving 353 students in grades 9-12. Founded by the Sisters of Charity of the Incarnate Word, the school is accredited by AdvancED/North Central Association of College and Secondary Schools. ICWA is located in the suburban residential neighborhood of Bel Nor in St. Louis, MO. The eight acre campus was once part of the Lucas estate. A Charter from the state of Missouri was granted in 1932, and years later the school continues to thrive and grow.
A leader in Christian education, Lutheran High School opened in 1946 in the city. By 1954 studies revealed a need for a school in North County and it was moved to the Lucas and Hunt location. Lutheran North now has an enrollment of 297. For nearly 50 years Lutheran North has changed lives by offering Christian secondary education in the community. With generous support from sixty-two churches that comprise the Lutheran High School Association, over four thousand alumni and donors, and a multi-million dollar endowment, Lutheran North is prepared to uphold its reputation for excellence for generations to come!
Trinity Catholic High School, guided by a philosophy based on our Catholic faith and the teaching of Christ in the Gospels, strives to educate young women and men through a comprehensive program of academic excellence. In 2003, Mercy High School, St. Thomas Aquinas High School and Rosary High School consolidated to form Trinity Catholic High School.
