North County Incorporated (NCI) in partnership with the St. Louis Economic Development Partnership and the St. Louis Regional Chamber is a hosting a series of free Building Blocks for Small Business Growth Workshops in May. This series of workshops will be held at the St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley. All for-profit businesses in Ferguson, Dellwood and Jennings are eligible to participate at no charge. These hands-on workshops are meant to support small businesses with necessary tools to grow their business. Workshops focus on business planning, legal and insurance guidance, financial literacy, effective sales techniques, and marketing.

Business owners in Ferguson, Dellwood or Jennings that attend at least five different workshops and complete a business plan will have the opportunity to pitch a plan to improve their business to a panel of area business leaders. If chosen, they will receive additional assistance to help implement their plans.
