Our vision is to have a region restored to a place where peace, justice, equality, and self-sufficiency are a reality in every North County community and ethnic group.
Our mission is to provide opportunities for the growth, capacity building and development of North County, especially initiatives that benefit youth and families, that ultimately impacts the betterment of the North County region.
At Empower North County we see huge potential in combining our diverse strengths to develop programs that contribute to the overall wellbeing and positive growth of our community. We believe it is critical we move away from a segregated mindset and that a healthy community is one where all people:
- have a strong sense of belonging and identity
- have opportunities to work individually and together for the common good
- are able to support each other through different life stages
- have access to the services they need
- participate in making the decisions that affect them.
