Normandy Schools Collaborative
Superintendent of Schools Contact: Charles J. Pearson, Ed.D.Biographical Info
The Normandy Schools Collaborative is a family of educators, administrators, support staff, community members and parents committed to providing a high-quality education to each of our 3,300 students enrolled in our schools. It is our mission to improve the lives of our students by equipping them with the tools to solve 21st Century challenges. We proudly do this with a strong commitment to the Normandy Pillars of Accountability, Collaboration, Professionalism, Trust and Respect.
To ensure a strong foundation for our youngest scholars, Normandy is investing a state-of-the-art Early Learning Center which opens in fall 2019. The new center — in addition to other upgrades in the Collaborative — was made possible by the voters’ support of our April 2017 bond issue.
For our exceptionally talented students, we provide our Gifted and Talented Education programs for grades 3-8. At the high school, students may choose courses in the Project Lead the Way curriculum which include Engineering, Biomedical Sciences, and Entrepreneurship, in addition to Advanced Placement, and dual credit/dual enrollment courses with St. Louis Community College and Lindenwood University.
The Normandy Schools Collaborative is located in St. Louis County, directly northwest of St. Louis city. Conveniently near Interstates 70 & 170, the Collaborative is neighbors to the University of Missouri-St. Louis, Fortune 100 corporation Express Scripts, and historic neighborhoods like Glen Echo Park, Bel-Nor, Bellerieve Acres, and Pasadena Hills.
