The St. Louis Economic Development Partnership (STL Partnership) aligns regional efforts in business development, business finance, entrepreneurial support, and international trade services. Additionally, the Partnership provides a broad range of services to boost innovation and entrepreneurship, to support business retention and expansion, to enhance the region’s global relevance, and to revitalize communities.
The mission is to accelerate business creation, global connectivity, and equitable employment opportunities in St. Louis City and County. STL Partnership strives to provide greater opportunities for job growth across the economic development spectrum – from entrepreneurs to large employers.
The Partnership is a key facilitator of initiatives that encourage equitable economic prosperity throughout St. Louis City and County, following six key strategic priorities:
- Grow and retain jobs, and capital investment
- Support startups, and the entrepreneurial community
- Increase foreign trade and investment
- Advance redevelopment of strategic real estate assets
- Accelerate the growth of the region’s foreign-born populations
- Align talent with business needs
STL Partnership is the region’s only city-county economic development entity, and has earned the distinguished title, Accredited Economic Development Organization (AEDO) from the International Economic Development Council (IEDC). This accreditation signifies the professional excellence of economic development entities throughout North America.
