The North County Incorporated Board of Directors has approved support of Prop D on the Nov. 2018 ballot. This fuel tax increase is critical to maintaining our state’s aging transportation infrastructure. It is a small price to pay for the safety of our roadways and improving economic potential of our community. Not only will this help increase the capability of the Missouri Department of Transportations to better maintain major corridors through our community, such as I-70 and I-270, it will also bring more than $5 million dollars to the North County communities and north St. Louis County area to help improve local infrastructure. The realities of how far behind Missouri is in comparison to other states that we compete with in regard to transportation are staggering. Please take time to understand this important issue for not just the State but for your home community.
