Dr. Chris Kilbride
The board of directors of North County Incorporated (NCI) elected Dr. Chris Kilbride, superintendent for the Ritenour School District as its 2018 chairman of the board. Kilbride will serve a one-year term and succeeds Scott Negwer, president of Negwer Materials, who served on the NCI board since 2012.
Kilbride, superintendent since 2012, joined Ritenour in 1999 as a Hoech Middle School teacher before moving to district director of professional development. He also served as assistant principal and interim principal at Kratz Elementary and principal at Buder Elementary.
“It is a tremendous honor to serve as board chair,” said Dr. Kilbride. “I look forward to working with Rebecca Zoll, her staff and the entire board as we continue to serve as a catalyst for economic and community growth in North County.”
“We are extremely pleased to have Dr. Kilbride, outstanding educator and community leader, serve as our board chair,” said Zoll, president and CEO of NCI. “Chris will effectively guide and ensure the continued advocacy work NCI does for the North County community.”
