NCI Joined the Celebration for the First Tenant at Hazelwood Business Park
The City of Hazelwood, Industrial Commercial Properties (ICP), and Newmark Zimmer celebrated the opening of IDI, the first tenant at Hazelwood Business Park (formally St. Louis Mills Mall). St. Louis Community College-Florissant Valley honors St. Louis County Justice Services at the 2024 MLK Jr. Celebration 
Saint Louis Community College and North County Churches Uniting for Racial Harmony (NCCU) and Justice held a Martin Luther King Jr. celebration on February 5th, 2024. UMSL Exceeds St. Louis Anchor Action Network Goals for Increased Hiring and Purchasing in 2023 
The University of Missouri-St. Louis (UMSL) has played a leading role within the St. Louis Anchor Action Network. UMSL helped the network set a goal to increase purchasing and hiring within North St. Louis City and North St. Louis County neighborhoods by 10% in 2023. Greater St. Louis Inc. Releases New Report Showing Lambert Growth 
A new report by Greater St. Louis Inc. indicates that Lambert Airport can add five billion dollars in annual economic impact and support thirty thousand new jobs. These results would be due to the increased impact of the metro’s aerospace manufacturing industry led by Boeing and the increased traffic through a new state-of-the-art terminal. Click the link to read more.  

10-Week Small Business Development Program
The Urban League of Metropolitan Saint Louis Inc. Women’s Business Center is currently accepting applications for the Spring 2024 cohort. NCI board member, PFPD Fire Chief Jim Usry for receiving the “Hometown Hero Award” from the Kansas City Chiefs football organization/Branson Lakes Area Tourism Enhancement District during the KC Chiefs vs Miami Dolphins Playoff Game. 

Dr. Kendra Holmes Receives NACHC Honor for Healthcare Advocacy

Saint Louis County Receives Grant To Improve EV Plan
Saint Louis County secured a grant of $735,340 from the US Department of Energy to improve its electric vehicle (EV) plan. This plan included the installation of charging ports and the purchase of additional electrical vehicles.

Youth In Need Celebrates 50 Years  
Youth In Need is dedicated to servicing children and families. After beginning as a homeless shelter in 1972 the agency now serves over 8,000 children, families, and youth across the St. Louis region. Learn More.

The 2nd Annual Tour de Florissant 
The City of Florissant has partnered up with Big Shark Bicycle Company to announce that Historic Old Town Florissant will host the 2024 Bommarito Audi West County Gateway Cup race series. The event will take place on September 2, 2024.
